>компютри well, this seems like a very new experience to me, even though I have bee doing this for over a year now!! That must show that I have not posted for a while.

well A lot has actually happened since my last post, I know have much more items, greater experience in the line of programming and the best thing I have a new Job in the pipes for my placement year!!!!!

Right I’ll start with my newly(well not now but once was since last post). Right first on the list i have finally got my mac mini on a HD and all connected up fully HD so that is one major for my entertainment system! Then I went and purchase some High spec 3d glasses(not the crappy red and green ones), some full blown ones that make all my games on the PC fell like they are actually physically 3D a Grade A novelty purchase .

Next was my lovely EEE pc this is a major bonus for me I can now take my work and my beloved pc with me where ever I go, and not bust my back in the process. Then I went and bought an 360 now I have a true next-gen console yay!!!!!

Right thats it for purchases, the next big thing that happened to me was finally getting a placement sorted for next year, at a company in Sheffield called CSE-Servelec, the department I’ll be working basically maintaining a current web based system fixing all the programming errors that arise, which is going to be a massive challenge for me but a very good one at that.

So overall a hectic couple of months now all i have to do is pass my exams, so if i remember i’ll start posting a lot more

Well yesterday went on a not so often outing……. I really don’t go out as much as I should! Anyways I went to cinema to go see the new film Cloverfield, I was not expecting this to be a “drop jaw” film, as I kept hearing mixed review and views about the film.

One of the daftest review on this film was that some guy said actually said “why on earth are they doing a remake of Escape From New York…” I mean this film has nothing in common…..OH! wait it does the liberty statues head is actually on the ground!?!?!?!

Hey guys. Well my money’s been burning a hole in my pocket again……….what have I been buying this time I hear you ask? Well I’ve either bought it or my current laptop has just shrunk with the recent British weather, but I’ve gone and got myself a brand new ASUS EEE Pc, the 701 4 gig one.

For you people who’ve been living under a rock for the past month and are wondering what the hell this machine is……GET BACK UNDER THE ROCK! But before you go, take this statement with you. The Asus EEE PC is the new laptop that is taking the tech market by storm, and even the avid user market. This machine has actually been tipped to be in much higher demand in USA then the Nintendo WII and you only have to see this machine to realise why! I mean the screen size weighing in a (not so) massive 7 inch!.

So anyway this was meant to be a review so I’ll stop that there. I managed to get my hands on the beast off an Ebay auction, I was looking for ages none were going for the price I was willing to pay for. When this machine finally came It was at 10 to 11, ten minutes before I had to go to uni for a walk through for one of my assignments, then I had to go for a job interview. So sods law that I could not even play with it. When I finally got to play was when I was at my girl friends a very bad mixture, as I spent more time laying with my 7 Incher then her

So today’s Saturday and I managed to have a full play with it, and install xp on here and all my IDE programs, and it actually works quite well bear in mind I have to hide a few stuff but overall it works well for me and I think I will keep with the sub-notebooks area for quite sometime if the love children of this thing turn out like this.

Is it, or is it not that you can always find something better to be doing with your time when revision comes into play………….Come on I bet you have all done it. The test a week away, or dare I say the next day (my case) you can always find something 10x better then revision. I mean today OK had the girlfriend stop over but, I dead certain that she’ll play the Wii and I will knuckle down and do revision…….But wait that looks interesting what’s she playing! Mario Galaxy, OK granted a god damn awesome game, but not once completed. I actually found myself looking at the background and the little things, I must have just been there for at least an hour just looking at things in the background going ‘never seen that before’, or ‘God! that mushroom looks gay bet when we are not looking he’s having off with a goomba’. Yes I actually found it entertaining making reasons why Mario characters are gay and who there best match was!

Now tell me how in the hell is that entertaining, let alone productive. It’s true though I must admit you always find better things to do, another example, My girlfriend bought me ET:Quake Wars and I found that you could create custom names for the A.I, well yet again my mind wondered  creating random and crazy names, like ‘Wee Wee pants’, ‘You touch me and I’ll scream rape’.

I think I need to see someone!

Well This last year, has been a one to remember and forget. 07 was all in all a brilliant year, in the fact that I had fun, and just memories I that would like to always take with me, such as my trip to sunny Devon in my little, just under 1 liter Peugeot 106. The little trucker has got to be one of the most reliable cars i’ve seen (thats it i’ve jinxed it), the car as been through hell and high water (no joke check a few posts down to see what I mean). Anyways going back of track now but 07 has also had it downs, with that fact I was in real danger of becoming in some major debt but that also behind me now.

Ok, So enough of my ramblings i’ll get in to the main body of this post which is to talk about me turing 20 on New Years Eve, god I must say that is a boring age I mainly got socks and that also not a joke. The socks are all funky so thats a plus for me, also got a brand new hd 19 inch tv to allow me to put my mac in HD and show off all my funky images from my new camera…….Wait did I not mention I have a DSLR a canon eos 10D

Well this feels like a strange thing………….. I am actually typing a blog post, whats come over me?!?!?!?!?!?! over a year since 64pixels/64Cast released I have only posted what a handful of posts, Ok I know that aint no great achivement but hey its something :P.

Ok so Mark got me think when he posted over at Freshsites about spam, and really until now I must have been in some delusion or something, but I only thought email spam was just used to talk about one man and is “not working” member, or to say I won this great amount of money.

Ok for a moment there I did actually think it was some random contact I had not spoken in a while……..stupid me……..until I decided to ring the email, talking about the brilliant device that will leave me asking

Ok, so today I thought I’d install Ubuntu back onto my machine use an old hdd and i’ll be fine, need to get back into using linux anyways since of a module next year at uni. The installation didn’t seem to go as smoothly as i wanted it to go but after after couple of hours messing around i finally cracked it, just another few more hours installing software and i was up and running.

But then i thought what can i do about my video editing, well after couple hours looking i found KINO not the best software in the world but it’s free (always a bonus) so after a couple of minutes playing i found you can do easy time lapse so i guess we’ll be using this from now on on linux anyways

here an example of what i made.

Well to tell the truth, the only reason i left the house was to go and rescue my Girlfriend and a mate from a exam they had. So i went down Halifax Road in Sheffield thought it was fine ” No floods here i’ll be safe be a 15min job this.” Boy was i wrong when i got to where Halifax Road meets Penistone Road that was all cut off because of flooding all Wensday Ground flooded, so Ok a little set back just go down at side of Hallam Fm radio Station, and got onto Herries Road and made my way back onto Penistone Road, made my way to Hillsbourgh College.

Oh the fun had only just started at this point, i could not make my way fully down to the college beacuse of the flood so i waited at the casino for them to arrive finnaly they did, so i thought right i drop down Penistone Road onto Rutland Road and take my mate home well i was stuck in traffic getting near Rutland Rd but then remebered there’s a little side road that bring you out onto Rutland so i went and not long noticed this was high in water BUGGER!!! At this point i was too far to turn back so i went throught it stong but then had to turn back ROAD CLOSED.

Right back on Penistone Road, had to wait there for ages more like 4 hours and didn’t even move more then 2 miles(No joke) each 15mins that passed listen to the traffic report hearing getting worse and worse traffice wise, then at the last minute heard about the wicker, so i luckly avoided it and went all up broke hill to Crookes, then to riveling then to loxley, into Outerbridge to just get back to Halifax Road. oh i was pulling my hair so in total i went a total of 10 miles. 4 hours and 2 miles of that was in traffic so the rest of the miles(8 miles) took me an hour. NOW WORD OF WARNING TO ANYONE DONT EVER GO OUT IN BAD RAIN LIKE THAT YOU WILL SUFFER

Right i also have some picies. 1 of hill. college, 2 of where i was in water and was moving sidways due to the current, and one of the park in outerbridge bare in mind the view i took you can usally see swings.
